2.1. Making a new book

There are three ways to make a new Sophie book. You can go to the File menu and choose New Book, or you can press command/control-n. Doing either of those will bring up the Book Properties window, where you'll be prompted for a title and a size for your new book:

If you've previous saved book templates, there will be book templates listed in the Book Templates palette in the Library flap. Double-clicking one of them will create a new book using that book template.
