    9   The !FrameBorder is not a model for the swing component`s border but an additional one. It is the outer field on a certain distance of the border of the swing component. The frame content could not overlap the !FrameBorders, it could only be positioned inside the remaining field. The !FrameBorder could have different width and color. It might be realized in different styles. (box, shadow, 3D, repetition of a certain picture, etc.)
